About a Foot!

That is right, we got about 12-14 inches of snow, it’s my first blizzard *all happy* lol, it’s as amazing as I thought it would be. Fluffy white, of course the more you try to shovel the heavier it gets, but I had a good time! I was exhausted after, but it was fun, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. It was my first experience with this much snow, and I was just in awe over a lot of things, such as the salt they put on the ground so that the snow that falls on it, will melt it. Seriously I was like ‘wow’ lol. William must of thought of me as a weirdo lol. All I kept saying is “Omgosh that’s so cool!” hehe. Being from California, I am not exposed to this much snow. I have to admit though, wearing regular sneakers to shovel snow is not ideal. I guess I wasn’t prepared *oops* lol. So now I am on the hunt for a few items, to keep myself warm when I do shovel, and I’m pretty sure I’ll have to do some. So a few hours ago, I went outside to take a few pictures, to give you an idea how much snow we have. It’s very pretty actually. Take a look below!!

That took a while, I had to resize and all, then I had a few distractions. So anyway there we go. I wanted to take the time to thank a few very special people I know. First I wanted to thank Steve, for the lovely and may I say generous gift for my birthday, thank you so much babe, I truly appreciate it. I can’t say enough nice things about Steve, and because I hold him in my highest regards, I will often mention him in my blogs. I wanted to say a BIG hello to Alice, my best friend from the UK, I miss her, and love her to bits, and can’t wait until she comes to see me, but also wanted to thank her so much for everything she’s done for me, thank you sweety! I want to thank Felix & Jennifer, for the lovely pink retro radio/cd player, OMG it’s just too cute, thank you, you guys are dolls! I wanted to say hello to one of my best friends Derek, he’s such a sweetheart, always sends me a post card from where he’s at (he’s a truck driver) and he’s seen many places. Also Damon, a very good friend I’ve known for gosh almost 10 years, I missed his call the other day, but I hope he’s doing good.

We watched The Polar Express last night. These type of films always make me cry a little. At the end of the film, William says, “I don’t think I’ll ever hear the bell, would you?” I said, “Yeah I feel I would” He says “Really” lol anyway I think I would and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, then watch the film ;) Speaking of films, I pulled out a film last night, because I was in the mood for something scary, well silly me didn’t realise I got a blu-ray film, haha and I don’t have a blu-ray DVD player, so I say, just save it for when we do, what else can we do, I’m not getting rid of it.

I just glanced up and realised there is another upgrade for WordPress, 2.9 wow again. Now that I’m thinking of it, I did want to convert my blog script at kiss-me.org to WP, I may do that, but first I have some more presents to wrap, and I haven’t started, so I think I better do that, and I need to pull out some pork chops for dinner as well. Ohh I forgot to mention, we finished all the seasons of Battlestar Galactica, it was a good ending, but now I miss it! I’m off to continue wrapping, if I missed something to talk about I’m sure I’ll make it up at a later time. I’m blogging everyday until Christmas day, yippie! Happy Holidays everyone!

Hustle and Bustle!

Now it gets really crazy, last minute shopping, Christmas parties, and all kinds of stuff. As I mentioned in my last post, on Sunday we are going to Williams sisters house for Christmas dinner, which will be nice. But the weather is going to be crazy that night, I hear possible snow *brr* get cold just thinking of it. Although I welcome it, living in California most of my life, I rarely seen snow, and if I did, it was up in the high desert area, interesting it snowed in the high desert. We were pretty close to Big Bear there, so we got a lot of that cold weather. But it was really nice, and getting a chance to see a lot of snow being dumped in this area is going to be awesome! I’m going to enjoy it as much as I can. Because you just don’t know how long you have. I hope to have a nice time at this dinner, I won’t really know anyone, and there will be more people there, that weren’t at the last gathering. So there will be a lot of awkwardness, and well silence on my part, I get really shy and quiet hehe. Last week we made some yummy Christmas cupcakes, they look so yummy don’t they? Oh and my birthday flowers blooming, so pretty!

Birthday Flowers In Full Bloom!

Speaking of how long you have, yesterday I received some bad news. My brother Eric texted me to tell me my fathers girlfriend passed away on Monday. I feel for my father, I know it’s something hard to go through. There is a long story there behind all this and my feelings about everything. I won’t go into it, as its very personal. All I hope is that my father gets through this ok, losing someone he loves again, is a very hard thing to go through, and his health hasn’t been the best as of lately, but has improved over the past few months. Say a little prayer for him, I would appreciate it so very much.

Last night, we watched 1 of 4 final episodes of Battlestar Galactica, I am kind of bummed now that it’s almost over. Although there is a lot of other things to watch and I’m excited about them, like V, Flash Forward, Fringe, Dexter, and as for renting DVDs, LOST (I missed so much of that when I went to England), that I stopped watching it. I didn’t want to ruin what happened so that will be a lot of fun to watch. William told me about a TV show called 24 and it sounds interesting, so I may get into seeing that. So we watched a few episodes of Ghost Hunters: TAPS that was very cool. We are so addicted to that show, seriously!

Ohhh speaking of TAPS, I finally finished my 4 fanlistings, if you are a fan of TAPS and the people on it, then please join my fanlistings, you can find them at Amy Bruni, Grant Wilson, Jason Hawes, and Kris Williams, go and join!! They were rush jobs unfortunately but I did the best I could for rush jobs. I hope to change it, or add more over time. With Christmas and all coming up, I had so much to do, and ran out of time, I even asked for an extension! All done though, go and join now.
